5 minute Vanilla Snow Ice Cream
We are getting a blizzard today in Iowa and I think the total for snow so far this week is 20 inches. So let’s make the best out if it…..yes I would rather be on a beach. But being snowed in is a close second. 🤪
Blogs that tell their life story about their 2nd uncle removed before they give you the recipe drives me bonkers. So let’s get to it.
I like to chill my bowls first so whatever you are using make sure to throw outside for 5 min or so. Bring one of the 2 bowls in and add the following ingredients…
• 1 cup milk (any kind) I used 1/2 heavy cream and 1/2 skim
• 1/3 cup granulated white sugar (I used Monk Fruit)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch fine sea salt (optional)
7-8 cups clean snow (more or less, depending on the density of the snow)
Sprinkles!
In a chilled large bowl, whisk together your milk, sugar & vanilla. Then start adding your CLEAN and fluffy snow. New snow works best. Do around half the snow first then check your consistency after combining into the milk mixture. I added a bit more milk and vanilla here. Added alittle bit more snow (bc I was feeding 5 people) and mix again. It will melt FAST! So work quickly. (Chilling your bowls and working with COLD milk helps a lot!)
That’s it! Seriously so good and takes less than 5 min! You can do add ins too if you would like. But I’m always a fan of just plain vanilla. 🤍🤍🤍 Let me know if you try it!
